SafeZone Finalist at EDN Innovation Awards

The MK3 SafeZone In Road Alert Device (IRAD) was awarded a finalist position at the 2008 EDN Innovation Awards in the category of 'Best Application of RF Design'.

The awards, which recognise excellence in electronic design and are organise by the electronics industry's premier publication, Electronics News, were held at Sydney's Cockle Bay Wharf on October 14.

Along with the category of Best RF Design, there were several other categories which recognised the best application of analogue design, design software, microcontrollers, data acquisition, programmable logic, computers and student projects.

Whilst SafeZone did not win the category of 'Best Application of RF Design', its inclusion as a finalist illustrates the high regard with which the system has been received in the electronics industry.
